The Wonderful’s, set at the wild end of Lyttelton Harbour. Only 45mins from Christchurch. A rugged volcanic landscape taunted by the never ceasing ocean. Bringing nothing short of a view that the eye can’t quite believe and drenched in stories from it’s past.
The Bearded Poet - a restored 1930’s fishing hut, which sits in a quiet secluded bay, on the ocean’s edge at The Wonderful’s. With years of stories locked in the walls. The first project that has allowed many travellers to recluse and find wonder at what feels like the world’s end. We invite you to stay, hike the hills, talk with the sunset, bath in the ocean and feast on the offerings from the sea.

An unmatched experience staying steps away from the waterfront, completely isolated in your own little private bay – it was magical!
